Posted On 06/09/2021 Performs a variety of tasks related to patient admission and reception. Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for admission into computer. O perates multiple telephone line system to answer & direct incoming calls appropriately. Greet all visitors with empathy and respectful attitude.
Promptly answers incoming telephone calls as able within defined time period, tactfully, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department or voice mail if personnel not available.
Performs other clerical duties as requested or as needed. Including but not limited to filing, photocopying, collating, typing correspondence, scanning, and data entry, etc.
**Requirements**
High School diploma or general education degree. Minimum of six months position-related experience.
Preferred Education/Experience

Vocational, technical training or Associates, Bachelor degree. Five (5) or more years of hospital registration experience.
