We are seeking a Part-time Receptionist for our Rye Brook, NY office to work the hours of 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm from Monday to Friday. The Receptionist will greet all visitors, employees, and callers in a friendly and professional manner. They will also provide support for a variety of administrative and office duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Greets all visitors and notifies employees when visitors have arrived
* Maintains a clean and organized office and reception area at all times
* Answers all incoming calls promptly and with proper telephone etiquette: determines purpose of calls, forwards calls to appropriate personnel, transfers calls to voice mail or takes messages as needed
* Answers general questions about Schimenti Construction to callers and visitors
* Receives and signs for all mail and deliveries: sorts, files, and distributes appropriately to the correct office personnel
* Orders and maintains office supplies
* Coordinates and places food deliveries as requested.
* Ensures that kitchen and coffee supplies are filled daily and are in good working order
* Communicates with building management for any facilities work order requests for maintenance needs
* Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels within an organization
* Ability to manage time and prioritize responsiblities
* Demonstrated organization skills and strong attention to detail
* Problem-solving ability
* Self-starter and able to work independently
* Experience using MS Office
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in the state of New York. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Schimenti's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $20.000- $25.00 per hour.
