**Inventory Control Coordinator**

**Location:** Baltimore, MD, US, 21226 ****Job Description****

W.R. Grace is a global leader in manufacturing specialty chemicals. We currently have a leadership role at our finish goods warehouse in Curtis Bay, MD. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control over $14.5 M in monthly inventory. You will also be responsible for managing inventory assignment to orders, warehouse scheduling, document creation, and address issues related to ART business totaling approximately $250 M in annual revenue out of the Cabot warehouse. A key role in delivering excellent service and quality for 3 of W.R. Graces business units. Additional responsibilities include:

* Promote a culture continuous improvement around safety, inventory and process controls

* Lead all activities and processes to ensure best in class inventory control for 3 Grace businesses serviced from Cabot warehouse

* Lead all activities associated with inventory cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, and drive RCCA associate with all inventory discrepancies

* Work cross-functionally serve ART join venture by ensuring proper lot assignments are used, IMOs created, documents created (GHS, Shipping and SDS), containers are scheduled, warehouse capacity is available, service levels are exceeded for the ART business

* Oversees purchase of imported products including entering purchase orders, monitoring inbound timing and communicating across functions on any inbound delays

* Responsible for all inventory reporting on slow moving, excess, short date and partial pallets. In each case drive appropriate actions from the appropriate business

* Responsible to ensure proper storage of each business units product comply with all regulations

* Monitor and ensure inventory is allocated in a FIFO order

* As needed, support all US 3PLs with inventory associated transactions including: NADC, Terminal, WSI and others

* Act as a backup for shift supervisors, as needed

* Excellent follow-up skills

* Familiarity with working in matrixed organization

* Ability to operate manlift to conduct cycle counts at high levels

****Required Experience****

* Bachelors degree

* 1 to 3 years experience in warehousing / customer service / inventory control

* SAP user experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

****Preferred Qualifications****

* Bachelor's degree in business or accounting

* Experience in inventory and logistics transactions
