Production Coordinator

who is knowledgeable in all aspects of the winemaking process. Under the direction of the Assistant Winemaker, this is a hybrid role encompassing laboratory analysis, cellar work, and data entry and record keeping for winery operations. This individual will be integral to the development of our lab program as we seek to expand our in-house analysis capabilities. The Production Coordinator will play an integral role in workflow communication within the winemaking team, as well as coordination between departments, to ensure all cellar processing requirements and general protocols are scheduled and documented. The ideal candidate must work well in a fast-paced collaborative team environment and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This role has the potential to grow in scope and responsibility with accumulated skills and experience.Job Description

Perform routine lab analysis and berry sample processingPerform calculations for wine movements, additions, and blendingTrack laboratory supplies inventoriesMaintain lab equipment and establish SOPs for new equipmentCollaborate with shared services to ensure timely and accurate entry of winemaking and related production data in winemaking ERP systemRecord data from lab and cellar operations and maintain spreadsheetsSupport cellar crew with winemaking activities, including topping, racking, sampling, fermentation monitoring, and additionsAssist with miscellaneous projects as requested by winemaking teamQualifications

B.S. in Enology/Viticulture or a related fieldMinimum 2 years prior harvest and year-round winery experience required, with laboratory experience preferredWorking knowledge of industry-standard winery equipment (pumps, filters, crush equipment, presses) and lab equipment (aeration-oxidation apparatus, autoanalyzers, pH meters, titrators, turbidimeters, dissolved oxygen meters)Ability to perform basic calculations and assemble data in spreadsheets and charts/graphsStrong functional ability in Microsoft Office Programs (Office Suite, Word, Teams, Excel) and experience with winery management softwareExcellent verbal/written communication with strong analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to keep track of multiple tasks simultaneouslyHard working team playerAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks in a dynamic production environmentAbility to work extended hours during harvest seasonPay Range: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour, plus potential overtime pay during harvest season. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.Additional Information
