Shift time 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Overview
Prepares and packages finished goods in various configurations for shipment to contract sterilizer for
CPS production area. Works under direct supervision and follows instruction from supervisors, team
leaders or others designated to assist leadership in assignments of work areas. Relies on instructions
and preestablished guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Prepares bills of lading of shipment
contents in compliance with established by training manual. Ensures finished goods shipped are in
compliance of established standards. Ensures proper handling of materials to minimize product
damage. This position involves direct interaction with co-workers, managers, department directors and
ROi contractors.
Responsibilities
Partnership
. Develops co-worker relationships to ensure products packaged are to standards and expectations for
quality, design, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
. Works with co-workers and department leadership to ensure that CSC quality standards are
achieved.
. Utilizes communication skills to maximize CPS manufacturing production efficiency.
. Works with supervisors, team leaders, material planners and co-workers to ensure products are
shipped within established production schedules ensuring optimum inventory levels.
. Works with assembly supervisor to achieve requirements of daily work schedule for CPS production
area.
. Works with QA co-workers to help identify product defects and opportunities for improvement.
Technology
. Utilize systems related technologies to initiate product receipts, labeling, transfers and bills of lading.
. Utilize systems related technologies to prepare sterile load configuration, identification and
parameter requirements.
. Utilizes Build Record Master (BRM) to prepare packaging specifications and perform review of tray
labeling, case labeling and contents.
. Insures proper handling of hard copy file device BRM and associated changes related to CPS
manufacturing.
Operational efficiency
. Communicates proactively with assembly supervisor with regard to production schedule, load
configuration requirements and production defects.
. Establishes commitment to produce optimum production efficiency with regard to customer
expectations and production requirements.
. Provide timely and efficient communication to supervisor and production co-workers regarding status
of load configuration, production requirements, defects or quantities produced.
. Assists assembly supervisor in additional operational areas as required.
General functions
.Prepares and assembles Device History Record(DHR) paperwork for use in the production of Finished
Goods. This includes the verification all lot numbers and quantities of raw materials picked, applying
expiration dates to production lot numbers and printing of tray labels for all Finished Goods.
Ensures correct product identification as described on BOM prior to final packaging.
. Accurately records data for receipts of goods, product transfers and load configurations.
. Accurately counts, fills and secures product inside corrugate in accordance with assembly instructions
and BRM.
. Prepares load configuration within established standards.


. Physically stacks and palletizes corrugate to prepared load configuration.
. Applies external labeling to corrugate in compliance with established operating procedures.
. Prepares and cleans work area prior to packaging setup and performs other general housekeeping
duties as required.
. Ensures acceptable quality of materials placed into final corrugate packaging.
. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure:
Experience: One year distribution related experience and/or training
Certifications:
Other: Ability to comprehend simple instructions. Able to speak, read and write English is desired.
Ability to do basic math such as add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers. Ability to
apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral
communications. Required regularly to stand, walk, lift or move up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to grasp
and handle, reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to talk or hear, is occasionally required to
stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust
focus.
