Job Description:
RLS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Finance Intern to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both accounting and finance practices within a dynamic and supportive environment. The intern will assist with various accounting and financial projects, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and supporting our financial analysis efforts.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
* Contribute to financial audits by providing information and documentation as requested.
* Analyze financial data and create reports on findings.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Perform data entry and maintain financial records with accuracy.
* Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.
* Learn and utilize financial software and systems.
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong academic record.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
