Overview Summary: We are looking for an experienced Building/Facilities Group Leader to oversee and maintain our warehouse and to perform all scheduled and unscheduled work. Job details: Job Type: Full-time Shifts Available: 1st Shift Monday through Friday Starting pay $28.00/Hour Hiring Bonus: $1,000.00 Referral Bonus: $1,000.00 per referral Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation Benefits: Berry offers three insurance plans. Tuition Reimbursement and educational growth opportunity Employee recognition and events Responsibilities Complete PM schedule for all facilities equipment including: Building structure AC/ Heating Systems Cooling tower and chillers Conveyor / rail system Outside grounds and parking lot Fire extinguishers; cranes; eye wash stations and safety equipment Maintain PM record database as required by ISO system Includes preventive and predictive maintenance Monitor and complete all work orders in a timely manner Works closely with contractors to get quotes, schedule work and ensure their safety compliance Monitors, maintains and repairs structure chillers Leads and trains Facilities Technicians and assigns work orders accordingly to ensure work is completed. Maintain all facilities in a manner, which enables plant to meet all operational budgets and requirements. Other assignments as required. Effective written and oral communication skills Must be mechanically and electrically inclined. Must be safety and quality conscience at all times. 5-7 years Building/Facilities maintenance experience preferred Ability to work under limited supervision Additional training may be required to retain position Must have demonstrated experience with Chillers. Must be responsible, self- motivated and team oriented. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision. Must have a willingness to take a 'hands on' approach during times of process interruption. Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
