Duties:
Handle a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures.
Provide legal counsel on complex real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct due diligence and research on real estate issues.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute legal strategies.
Stay current with developments in real estate laws and regulations.
Requirements:Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the State Bar in Washington, D.C. or eligibility for admission.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate laws and regulations.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
