**STARTING PAY - $17.00-$18.50/hour**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy
* Inspect forklift or other warehouse machinery to ensure proper working order before operating
* Accurately pull materials to prepare orders for delivery or customer pick up
* Review receiving paperwork from vendors and confirm accuracy of shipment before unloading products
* Unload products from vendor trucks and place in the designated bin location in the warehouse or yard
* Load delivery trucks with materials using proper weight distribution
* Confirms the accuracy of the order prepared before customer pick up or leaving the yard for delivery
* Process returned materials from customers and jobsites
* Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers in the yard and warehouse
* Maintain accurate inventory and bin locations for all products in the yard and warehouse by minimizing materials damage, ensuring order accuracy, and processing returned materials
* Maintain organization and cleanliness in the yard and warehouse
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Education/Licensing/Experience Requirements:**
* High School diploma preferred
* 1-3 years of experience preferred
**Other Competencies:**
* Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive
* Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and vendors
* Ability to read and accurately follow instructions from customers, vendors, and dispatch
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
* Stamina to regularly lift, carry, and move at least 100 lbs.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position in the forklift 50% of the shift
* Must be able to operate warehouse machinery
* Constantly, working in an outside environment in all weather conditions while making deliveries
**MENTAL DEMANDS:**
* Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
* Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks
* Must be able to multitask
* Must be able to receive information and directions
* Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
