****Job Description:****

Ariens Company is seeking a dynamic Inventory Control Technician to support manufacturing and accounting by continuously validating/correcting system defined inventory balances based upon an actual on-hand count.

**THE DAY TO DAY**

+ Support safe operations of machine and tools, following procedures and protocol

+ Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

+ Manage count priorities to ensure that x% of the total inventory value is counted

+ Outline distribution centers on a daily basis

+ Assist quality control in removing scrap from inventory

+ Reconcile inventory balances

+ Cycle count all Finished Goods and Engines to ensure that system balances equal counted balances

+ Investigate discrepancies and understand rationale behind all adjustments

+ Manage inventory by identifying and eliminating problems

+ Understand the interrelationships between all functional areas that affect inventory balances and the associated transactions that occur

+ Perform internal audits as necessary

+ Assist and communicate directly with external auditors

+ Work, support and assist Material and Manufacturing Leaders**THE QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Associates degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training

+ Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills needed**THE WORK ENVIRONMENT**

+ Able to frequently walk, sit for approximately 8 hours a day

+ Able to lift up to 25 pounds at varying frequencies

+ Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment

+ Ability to work as part of a team

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
