The coordinator works collaboratively with the medical and hospital staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the care of the sepsis patient, to include, but not limited to, the implementation of evidence-based practices as related to sepsis care; provide clinical and professional expertise for patients, families and staff; collect and analyze sepsis related data and make recommendations and develop reports on data; and provide sepsis education at the bedside and in the classroom. Job Requirements Education Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Preferred: Bachelor s Degree in Nursing or other related field Experience Required: 2 years related experience Preferred: Experience in emergency or critical care nursing Skills Excellent public relation skills Excellent use of laptop computer Excellent critical thinking and conflict management skills Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Preferred: Certification in related field
