****Summary****

This position will be responsible for supporting the Kraus-Anderson (KA) Yard department by servicing internal customers by receiving, processing, and filling orders in person and over the telephone; advising internal customers on prices and materials. The position will also be responsible for tracking inventory and recordkeeping.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Manages count levels on tools, equipment and consumables.

* Takes and writes delivery orders.

* Catalogs and numbers tools to inventory system.

* Labels shelves and creates barcodes.

* Receives, tracks and expedites incoming deliveries.

* Records and calculates maintenance records on vehicles and equipment.

* Prepares Purchase Orders for Field Superintendents and Yard Personnel.

* Insures transfer accuracy.

* Maintains procurement records, maintenance records & historical costs records for services.

* Maintains inventory log of maintenance supplies & Yard consumables.

* Checks Out Tools to Superintendents & Projects Based on Real Time Records of Assignments.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

* High school diploma or GED

* One year of Construction or Inventory Control experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

* Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and consumables

* Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

* Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals

* Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

* Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Knowledge of Inventory Control software

* Knowledge of ToolWatch software program

* Knowledge of ViewPoint software program

**Other:**

* Valid forklift certification or ability to receive certification within 30 days
