**Overview:**

Warehouse Workers are key team members supporting the building of telecommunication networks providing better internet and communication systems to homes and businesses. As a Warehouse Worker you will be an important part of a team by providing the materials used in installing, repairing, and/or maintaining underground utilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving, delivering, tracking, maintaining, issuing, and stocking materials. Commercial Class A License is a plus!

**Responsibilities:**

* Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.

* Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.

* M aintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.

* Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.

* Maintain a shelf stock of parts, tools and any other job-required supplies.

* Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.

* Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customers usage and tracking systems.

* Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.

* Operates vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle.

**Qualifications:**

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

* Possess a valid drivers license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.

* A good driving record is required.

* Holds and maintains a valid driver's license, **Class A CDL is preferred.**

* Ability to operate a forklift.

* Ability to cycle count materials accurately for inventory.

* Proven decision making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, highly visible/risk intensive environment.

* The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments is necessary.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Prior experience working in an outside plant/construction environment.

* Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds several times each day.

* Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking.

* Ability to work indoor and outdoor environments during all times of the year.

**Safety Requirements:**

* The Technician shall follow all safety rules at all times.

* The Technician shall not engage in unsafe acts.

* The Technician is expected to attend and participate in all safety meetings and training.

* The Technician shall use all prescribed safety equipment that is required to safely do the job at hand.

* The Technician shall report unsafe acts or conditions to his or her immediate Supervisor or Safety Personnel.

* The Technician shall report any and all injuries, accidents, and/or incidents immediately their immediate Supervisor.

* The Technician shall be a safe worker on and off the job.
