* Work on non-routine to routine problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors.
* Responsible for incoming and outgoing of materials to meet production and program schedules which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/ material control.
* Perform physical movement of materials from area to another using hand carts or forklifts.
* Coordinate with off-site warehousing facilities for raw materials and drug products replenishment and material storage.
* With guidance may exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
* Ensures record-tracking of pertinent data is being completed through computerized systems and provides recommendations and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
* Analyzes non-routine information or data to support Supply Chain activities e.g. inventory levels, prices and tracking of shipments, inventory positioning, material deliveries, planned master production schedule and sales forecasts.
* Makes recommendations affecting longer-term inventory levels, sources, handling etc.
* Participate in the planning and controls of materials and finished goods
* Initiate or receive requests for routine changes affecting inventory levels, e.g. shipments, purchases, movement of stock. Performs necessary transactions and records in system to reflect changes.
* Prepare standard documents, such as material transfer requests, or shipping documentation.
* Track progress with department supervisor, communicate changes according to product availability or other conditions impacting timelines.
* May coordinate with other department representatives to identify future business needs.
* Apply working knowledge of manufacturing and production operations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) daily.
* Works on assignments that range from routine to moderately non-routine in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
* Able to recognize deviation from accepted practices.
* Support and execute tasks associated within the quality systems. CAPAs, Deviation management, Change Management.
* Ensure accuracy of associated task list BOMs.
* Execute job walks to ensure complete understanding of requested work and project support.
* Create purchase requisitions and manage invoicing for vendor with purchasing and accounts payable.
* Assists in the development and revisions of documented procedures (SOPs, Work Instructions) for Planning and Scheduling processes.
* Build relationships with cross-functional teams including Quality Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Business Systems.
* Other duties as assigned
* High school diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience in related field of Pharmaceutical GMP environment.
* Or 4 to 8 years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to work on assignments that range from routine to moderately non-routine in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
* Able to recognize deviation from accepted practices.
* Ability to work independently on routine work and follow general instructions on new assignments.
* Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Working knowledge of manufacturing and production operations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) daily.
* Demonstrates intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Able problem solves and determine solutions to non-routine problems.
* Good planning and organizational skills and strong time management skills.
* Knowledge of computerized material flow method. Strong experience with enterprise systems preferred.
* Oracle ERP knowledge is a plus.
* Ability to lift >50lbs, stand on feet for minimum of 2 hours, squat, crawl, bend and work in loud, wet, and hot/cold environments
* Ability to stand and handle repetitive motions for an extended period of time
* Forklift certified
* Drivers License Class C
