We are currently in search of reliable and motivated Warehouse Workers to join our growing team in our Distribution Center pipe yard located in Salt Lake City! Your responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety in the industry. We are looking for candidates with a stable work history who are looking for long term careers with a great company. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment.
We are offering a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!
These positions work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday and pay $20.75/hr.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate forklift equipment effectively and safely; maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
- Perform duties within the RF processes in place.
- Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight; to ensure warehouse goals are met.
- Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met;
- Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets;
- Load/unload trucks
- Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
- Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis;
- Contribute to the success of the team.
- Cycle Counts.
- Stock Replenishment.
- Receiving and locating product using RF technology.
Requirements - Completion of a high-school diploma.
- Stable work history (vs. job hopping)
- Safely operate various forklift equipment. Prior experience with cherry pickers and high reach machinery is an asset.
- Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day.
- Ability to use RF technology.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred.
- Work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds repeatedly
- Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check
WORKING CONDITIONS: - Ongoing requirement of physical activities including lifting, bending, walking
- Ability to stay on your feet for long periods at a time
- Willingness to work in varying working conditions, including indoors and outdoors
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment
