Our NEW Manchester location we will be unloading, stocking, selecting and loading product out to a grocery chain in the CT area. FHI associates will handle dry grocery and general merchandise for our customer. This position will be third shift for start up, and then positions may be available on other shifts.

We will have warehouse coordinators for three areas, inbound, outbound, and selection. Reporting to the Inbound Supervisor , the Inbound Coordinator provides leadership and direction to Inbound Warehouse Associates including pre-shift work planning and delegation/assignment of work each shift. Works in conjunction with the Inbound Operations management to achieve production goals.

* Directs and coordinates Inbound Warehouse Associates to safely and efficiently perform inbound operations. Assigns work assignment to Inbound Warehouse Associates.

* Utilizes daily huddles with Inbound Warehouse Associates to ensure operating procedures and assignments are communicated properly.

* Coordinates work assignments for Unloaders and ensures assignments are completed.

* Coordinates work assignments for Receivers and supervises inbound loads.

* Assigns Sanitation Associates to work areas that need attention and cleanup.

* Coordinates and ensures work performance of Forklift Operators is completed for inbound stock.

* Directs and coordinates Inbound Warehouse Associates to safely and efficiently perform Inbound operations. Assigns work assignment to Inbound Warehouse Associates.

* Utilizes daily huddles with Inbound Warehouse Associates to ensure operating procedures and assignments are communicated properly.

* Effectively communicates with associates, host management, transportation partners, and FHI management to ensure performance standards and safety goals are accomplished.

* Reports and reviews company policy violations to management. Coaches associates when needed.

* Provides recommendations for hiring, promotions, and terminations of associates.

* Makes recommendations and implements changes for performance improvement.

* Champions safety initiatives with the Selection Associates by leading pre-shift safety briefings, ensuring proper stretching and warm up exercises are accomplished, and promoting compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.

* Immediately informs management of potential safety threats; works with management to remedy threatening situations.

* Ensures daily safety inspections are completed and any deficiencies are reported for corrective action.

* Guarantee safeguard measures are being adhered to maintain cleanliness and a debris free work area.

* Possess an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse.

* Equipment training is provided.

**Qualifications**

* 1-3 years Warehouse/Operations experience preferred.

* Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)

* Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)

* Ability to lead work teams successfully.

* Good verbal/written communication skills

* Good problem-solving skills

* Willingness to work the required schedule.

* Ability to speak and write English for effective communication.

* Basic math skills.

* Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

* Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.

* Ability to work in a team environment.

**Working conditions**

Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures. This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.

**Physical requirements**

* Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
