CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Provider Service Representative for a contract position with our client, a prominent healthcare company and one of the largest pharmacy chains in the United States.Location: Remote in EST or CST
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm EST
Pay: $16.57/hour - weekly pay
Status: 6-month contractThe Provider Service Representative will focus on making outbound calls to providers to validate and confirm their demographic information and participation with our EAP benefit. They will process any changes associated with the information validated. Responsibilities:
- Outbound calls to providers to validate information
- Data entry of changes to provider information
- Issue resolution of provider inquiries
- Appropriate documentation
- Accurately maintains provider data
- Customer satisfaction
- Resolves provider inquiries complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action
- Demonstrate excellent customer services to providers
- This role will require an understanding of insurance concepts
- Strong attention to detail and proven analytic and problem solving
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
- Must have effective and empathetic communication style in managing outbound calls and communications.
- Computer experience is required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Basic alpha number data entry skills with attention to accuracy and quality is essential.
- Intermediate math skills are required with attention to detail and quality essential.
- Experience in a health care setting or insurance industry is a plus, including knowledge of basic insurance and third-party terms and medical terminology.
- Ability to work with people in a team environment while meeting individual performance goals.
- Must be able to read and interpret policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload and competing priorities is essential.
