Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - 1st Shift, Full-Time / Part-Time ABCM Corporation - Northgate Care Center and Southcrest Manor II Assisted Living ( Waukon, IA $25.00 to $33.50 per hour Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON): + Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care + Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners + Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident + Documents resident status/care/services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner + Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures + Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident Qualifications / Requirements + Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license + Experience in skilled nursing/long term care (LTC) preferred + Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety + If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON) requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge/supervisory capacity + Must have excellent oral and written communication skills + Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable Additional Information Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time Shift: 1st Shift, Flexible Scheduling Wage Range*: $25.00/hr-$33.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE) Base Wage: $30.00/hr (RN) and $25.00 (LPN), Negotiable (DOE) Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr * please note: the wage range advertised includes additional incentives, such as shift and/or weekend differentials, weekend package incentive pay, years of experience pay, and any other incentive pay disclosed in this job post Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Life Insurance, 401(k) * Supplemental Incentives/Perks: Flexible Scheduling, Double-Time Holiday Pay, Paid Vacation, Continuing Education/Tuition Assistance, Free Meals, Shoe & Uniform Allowance, Corporate Discounts, Various Bonus Opportunities, Home-Like Environment, Collaborative Culture, and Much More! *Medical = FT, Dental = FT/PT, Vision = FT/PT, Health Savings Account (HSA) = Team Leaders/Professionals, Life Insurance = FT/PT, 401(k) = FT/PT/VAR/SEA ASK US ABOUT MATCHING YOUR CURRENT WAGE & ACCRUED VACATION!
