The Contact Center Rep is a key role within the Individual Life & Financial Services Contact Center and serves as the primary point of interaction for agents and policyholders within this rapidly growing channel within OneAmerica. In this fast paced, multi-product environment, you will support policies that have been in force for decades, as well as policies that were just issued. The degree of customer inquiry varies dramatically, but the most important objective is that we provide the support and service that our clients deserve. Whether the interaction is a telephone conversation, an email or a research request, you deliver exceptional customer service while informing both agents and policy holders on topics, including but not limited to, policy status, loan balances, demographic changes, policy provisions, etc. To satisfy the variety of inquiries received, the Contact Center Rep also interacts regularly with internal departments such as Policy Service, New Business, Claims, Treasury, Licensing and Commissions.

REQUIREMENTS:

* This position works remotely. However candidates local to the Indianapolis, IN area are preferred.

* Bachelors/Associate's degree or four years customer service or financial services experience ideal.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a genuine desire to work in a team environment.

* Representatives must handle multiple tasks, be detail-oriented and organized. Those who describe themselves as self-starters are very successful in our environment.

* Must be able to work scheduled hours between the hours of operation, M-F, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm EST. Example shifts include 8:00 am 5:00 pm or 10:00 am 7:00 pm. Bi-lingual capability (English/Spanish) is not necessary but would be considered beneficial.

* Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 02A

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who received a job offer on or after 11/1/21 provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 within 60 days of their start date of employment with OneAmerica, unless an exemption has been granted as an accommodation due to the individuals medical condition, sincerely held religious belief, or other legal requirement.
