**Description**

Receives, stores, and distributes products and materials within cooler area by performing the following duties, 2nd shift warehouse hours.

***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:**

Includes the following, and any other duties that may be assigned by a supervisor:

* Reads production schedule or customer shipping orders to determine items to be received, moved, gathered or distributed.

* Receives products and materials from production areas or outside vendors to cooler storage or other designated areas.

* Sorts and places products or materials on racks, shelves or in cooler according to pre-determined sequence such as; size, type of product or code date.

* Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for products, materials or other stock items and distributes to appropriate loadout area.

* Verifies or records products, materials or items received or distributed.

* Arranges products in specified sequence for loadout by other workers.

***Qualification Requirements:***

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

If qualified and trained, may have to move trucks and/or tractor-trailers.

***Education and/or Experience:***

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

***Language Skills:***

Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and convey information to other employees.

***Mathematical Skills:***

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers.

***Reasoning Ability:***

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

***Physical Demands:***

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms above shoulder level, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to bend at the waist, turn and stoop. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

The employee must regularly stack or unstack cases weighing 25 to 55 pounds and floor level to above shoulder height, frequently move stacks of milk weighing up to 300 pounds with a hook which can generate up to 75 pounds resistance. Stacks of milk may have to be pulled onto or off wooden pallets and/or 4 wheel dollies. Pallets of product moved with a pallet jack and dollies pushed to appropriate storage area. This job can be ergonomically and physically demanding.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

***Work Environment:***

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment, is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and temperatures below 40 degrees. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

***Work Schedules:***

Workweek could vary; may include Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays with a specific weekday or rotating day off. Four 10-hour days may also be scheduled.
