**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Invitae is looking for an experienced associate that is highly organized, proactive, self motivated and not fearful of a face-paced and non-static workplace. The candidate must also understand all aspects and adhere to all of the rules of operating in a cGMP certified workplace.

Relative experience in a laboratory environment is preferred. Stockroom Associates must have strong communication skills, understand time sensitive support of all internal and external customers. The Stockroom Associate at all times is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The Stockroom Associate will be a key contributor to building operational scale and excellence in the organization.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Strict adherence to all operational compliance and safety standards

* Daily materials transactional movement using Oracle ERP

* Daily receipt, inspection, and put away of inbound materials

* Cold chain and expiration date maintenance

* General material handling knowledge and execution skills

* Daily laboratory materials fulfillment and maintenance

* Accurate and timely completion of all duties assigned

* Cycle counting and reconciliation

* Ability to use a manual and electric pallet jack

* Some driving utilizing a company vehicle

**EXPERIENCE:**

* Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

* Experience and proficiency in Google docs

* Shipping (Domestic & International)

* Creating/Auditing/Executing internal SOP/Work instructions

* Experience with both JIRA and Confluence

* Comfortable performing data entry, maintaining files, and organizing department documents

* Excellent time management and prioritization skills

* Ability to accurately interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

* Demonstrated ability to solve problems and execute on actions and tasks as requested by your team leader

* Ability to navigate through a sometimes ambiguous and fast-paced environment

* Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities

* Highly organized and able to prioritize work under pressure

* A desire to create a respectful, fun, inclusive and inspiring team and company culture

* Requires minimal supervision, accepts considerable responsibility for business/operations support; effective ability to assist others (departments) in the completion of assignments through knowledge sharing and task assignment

* Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, committed to deadlines and have solid verbal and written communication skills

* Possess and display a strong sense of team and a never say quit attitude

* Work effectively under tight deadlines with multiple ongoing projects

**EH&S REQUIREMENTS:**

* Complete all required EH&S training

* Comply with all federal, state and local regulations, Invitae EH&S policies and procedures as well as requirements of accrediting agencies

* Always work in a safe and responsible manner

**EDUCATION:**

+ Minimum High School Diploma

+ Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
