The Concierge will primarily assist members/guests in all front office-related areas, along with supporting youth events and always providing a world-class experience and service to Members and guests of the Club.Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible. Driven to positively impact the organization continuously and believe that as a team we accomplish more.What will be expected of you: Work with the Director of Youth Activities on sleeping room amenity strategy, culture, and servicesAssist Membership throughout their stay (service, travel, area attractions, etc.)Register Members/guests and assign rooms; comply with special requests whenever possibleAssists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for registrationCheck-in rooms into the Jonas Hotel SystemKnow room location, types of rooms available, and room ratesCoordinate room status updates by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day roomsProcesses member/guest check-ins and outs, manage room keysPosts and files all charges to Members'/guest accountsAnswer the phone within the first three rings and always use proper telephone etiquette Processes mail, packages, and messagesRead and initial the pass-on log and bulletin board daily; know of daily activities and meetings taking place in the ClubCount the bank at the beginning and end of every shift Make sure all petty cash is in the cash register or has been accounted for Coordinate guestroom maintenance work with the Engineering and Maintenance departments if the manager is not available Must be aware of all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies and procedures Maintain cleanliness and neatness within the Front Desk areaMake necessary purchases for all events and work with vendors, entertainment companies, etc. to reserve appropriate items.Analyze member data to identify demographic trends of the youth member population.Know and understand coat check operations; fill in when necessary/emergencies (see below) How we determine your qualifications:Two years of customer service and Hospitality experience required Front Desk/Rooms, preferred College Degree preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, Working Proficiency Benefits: This is a Part-Time PositionComplimentary mealsComplimentary parking Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (Available to Full Time and Part Time Team Members)FSA401K with matchEmployee Discounts Golf, Tennis, Fitness Apparel/ItemsCongressional offers competitive benefits focused on total well-being and dependent aid as we aim to help you achieve a healthy work and personal life.CCC is an EOE
