Clair Global is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join their dynamic warehouse team. **Essential Functions:** The Receiving Clerk assumes primary responsibility for incoming Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery shipments (domestic and international) and logging and distributing incoming packages within the scope of Clair's mission and core values.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Receive incoming shipments using the company ERP system
* Verify accuracy of items received
* Participate in loading and unloading trucks when necessary
* Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, delivery cart, or forklift
* Communicate damages, shortages, or nonconformance to appropriate company personnel
* Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure inbound packages are received in a timely manner
* Maintain required documentation for all incoming Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery shipments
* Maintain stock room inventory
* Perform such other duties and functions as required
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task and switch gears easily
* Strong writing, communication and organizational skills with a passion for detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
* Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced environment
* Computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Office applications)
* Excellent interpersonal and friendly customer service skills required
* Demonstrated maturity and judgement
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in shipping and receiving or related warehouse experience
* Familiarity with Federal Express and UPS shipping processes
* Working knowledge of ERP systems
* Forklift certification
* Ability to compute amounts such as space used, shipping charges, and unit of measure conversion
