New Job Opportunity - Financial Analyst
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of McLean,VA. Looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in a government contracting setting- Deltek Experience highly preferred. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - 3 Month Contract to Hire
- Hybrid Remote: 2-3 days a week on site
Day to Day Activities:
- Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
- Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision-making
- Utilize Vena forecast tool to set up projects
- Provide QA analysis
- Provide Feedback to project managers
- Evaluate monthly financial results and investigate variances to Plan / Prior Year / Prior Estimate
- Develop, compile and distribute dashboards and other financial reports to management
- Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Admin is Required
- Minimum of four years of working Financial analysis experience - Experience working in a government contracting environment
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is required for this role
