**About the Role:**

As an Inventory Technician, you will coordinate pharmacy inventory levels by ordering pharmaceuticals through direct accounts, vendors, and suppliers. You will answer inquiries about inventory availability and assist in ordering and tracking daily inventory orders to ensure medications are always in stock for our customers and support the fulfillment operations in meeting our operational objectives.

* Ensure the uninterrupted flow of products to assigned pharmacy locations through appropriate purchasing procedures.

* Coordinate resolution of all inventory order problems (i.e. back orders, manufacturer outs).

* Coordinate review of inventory for expired, damaged, or overstocked medications.

* Process recall notices when necessary and coordinate removal of product from shelves.

* Manage fulfillment of prescriptions through the pharmacys automated dispensing units.

* Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies.

**Requirements:**

* You have a High School diploma or GED and have 6+ months of pharmacy experience or relevant inventory experience.

* You are proficient in G Suite or MS Office and have experience with vendor coordination and service level management.

* You are able to interact with confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

* You possess organizational skills and strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues with orders, invoice payments, etc.

* Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology a plus (SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications.

* You are capable of standing for long periods of time and able to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
