Content Operations Strategy & Change Intern: Miami - Summer 2024

Your New Role

The Content Operations Strategy and Change Team provide business analysis, business process improvement, project implementation and provide technology vendor management to enable the Global Content Operations team.

This internship will be located in the Miami area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule.

Your Role Accountabilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to aid the Program Manager leading launch activities for upcoming Max launches, liaising closely with the business facing program leads and Global Content Operations Senior Leadership team to bring a cohesive approach to launch planning and activities.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and understand their requirements.
  • Attend daily standups to keep track of the latus statuses, timelines, risks, issues, decisions.
  • Record the risks, issues, decisions, status.
  • Create presentation slides with the latest status of your project(s) and program(s).
  • Chase on actions and timelines to see them through to a conclusion.
  • Monitor dependencies between different projects and workstreams to make sure they are aligned.
At the end of the semester the inter will have help steered the Max Launch project for the Global Content operations teams, this will provide insight and knowledge into the program delivery cycle and Content Operations supply chain and the broadcasting industry.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in delivery of business change and improvement projects.
  • Experience in project tracking and reporting.
  • Experience in resource estimation and planning.
  • Experience in risk mitigation and problem management.
  • Experience using MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio
  • Experience in/knowledge of Program Management System Apps Concepts
  • Experience in/knowledge in content preparation and distribution, a plus.
  • Business and technical experience in the broadcast/content preparation/distribution/media industry, is nice to have
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

What to know before applying:

The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.

Program date options:

Option 1: June 3rd - August 16th

Option 2: June 10th - August 23rd
  • Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
  • Interviewing will take place from March through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
