**GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:** The primary responsibility is to perform specialized work involving web merchandising and distribution of merchandise. Work involves application of extensive product knowledge, also requires judgment and initiative and many varied contacts. Maintaining and improve the Mathis Brothers online catalog. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable while abiding by all safety guidelines. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Responsible for maintaining a friendly and professional environment. Perform any other duties as directed by management.
**EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED:** Ensure items are available/unavailable, priced correctly, and displayed accurately; enter new product content (images, descriptions & specifications); work with employees across all departments; assist with any problems associated with web merchandise in conjunction with customer service; work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met; answer sales questions about web products, prices, availability, & transfers; recommend advertising opportunities based on web inventory levels; make informed decisions on where to place web merchandise; work closely with factory representatives to obtain product, collection & brand specific material to be used on the web; download/upload photography to product pages; attend weekly walk through to determine sales volume of merchandise on the floor (multiple locations); work closely with factory representatives to discuss sales; assist with periodic inventory counts; help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs; use excellent customer relations; any other duties as directed by management.
**EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:** Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; ability to work with many levels of management, including ownership; ability to maintain upmost confidentiality regarding sales, product plans, advertising, etc.; positive attitude when working with customers; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Drivers license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
**PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:** To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled environment.
