**POSITION TITLE:** Shipper / Receiver I **LOCATION:** Kirkland, WA **Icom America Careers**
**JOB CLASSIFICATION:** Full-Time, Non-Exempt **REPORTS TO:** Distribution Manager **PRIMARY FUNCTION**
Responsible for warehouse shipping and receiving functions that support accurate and timely distribution of product to our customers. Counts inventory items on semi-annual basis and performs tasks to keep warehouse clean and organized. Participate as a team member who performs other warehouse duties as assigned.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Verifies product pulled for each order using scan technology. Packages orders using appropriate shipping and packaging materials to insure safe shipment. Processes related paperwork in preparation for the manifesting process.
* Works with team members to unload all incoming product shipments and sorts product in preparation for stocking product into isle bin locations.
* Operates shipping manifest system and reviews each packing list for shipping and handling instructions to ensure customer shipping requests are completed correctly. Separates manifested packages by freight carrier (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, U.S. Mail etc.) to ensure proper pick.
* Participates in semi-annual inventory process by performing accurate counts for assigned accessories and mainframes.
* Completes special order requirements as requested such as kits, battery and antenna swaps.
* Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to keeping warehouse clean and organized.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
* Must have minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as warehouse shipping/receiving clerk with knowledge and experience in inventory, barcode, and manifest systems with ability to perform each of these functions.
* Required computer skills include typing 30 to 40 wpm and strong data entry skills. Must also be able to navigate, inquire, and enter information into E1.
* Familiar with export shipping procedures and requirements. Also familiar with main freight carriers and shipping options with ability to make shipping recommendations and provide related shipping information when requested.
* Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds frequently up to 70 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand and lift for long periods of time.
* Must be accurate, pay attention to detail, have follow through and solid basic math skills.
* Able to work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations according to climate, exhaust fumes and noise from shipping trucks and other equipment.
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
