Overview:

Drybar is seeking a Shop Educator who is passionate about teaching others and delivering exceptional customer service. The Shop Educator will be responsible for training and coaching new and existing stylists on Drybars signature blowout techniques, product knowledge, and customer service. As a Shop Educator, you will be an integral part of the Drybar team and will contribute to the success of the shop by ensuring that all stylists are delivering a consistent and exceptional experience to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and coach new and existing stylists on Drybars signature blowout techniques, product knowledge, and customer experience
  • Manage candidate pipeline and conduct practical interviews for prospective stylists
  • Conduct weekly training sessions to ensure that all stylists are up-to-date on the latest techniques, products, and trends
  • Ensure all stylists are delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing ongoing support and coaching to stylists to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals
  • Facilitate one-on-ones when needed (client feedback)
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing guest complaints and concerns in the shop in a professional manner
  • Work closely with the Shop Manager and Lead Educator to develop and implement training programs and initiatives
  • Assist Stylists on the floor by shampooing, finishing with hot tools, and coaching in the moment to encourage efficient timing
  • Perform blowouts and lead the shop experience by example
  • Track and report on key metrics related to shop performance
  • Attend and participate in all company-wide training and development programs
  • Uphold our core values and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • NC Cosmetology license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a stylist and minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
  • Passion for teaching and coaching others
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Stellar customer service skills customers love you!
  • Strong organizational skills and computer savvy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
