**Description**

Ocean Beauty Seafoods Distribution department is looking for a Seafood Receiver. We have a busy department that is always on the go. Many orders come through our plant and we could use your experience to get our orders processed. This schedule would be from Sunday-Thursday.

Duties:

* Receiving fresh products from our outside vendors

* Counting the cases and verifying the case count with the paperwork

* Working on the production line packing orders to be shipped to our local customers

* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product availability, both internally and in-coming, for each day

Job Requirements:

* You must be willing to work in a cold and wet environment.

* Must have basic math skills and a great work ethic.

* Willing to follow direction from our QA department and the floor supervisor.

* Seafood experience is a plus but willing to train the right person.

* Preferred training in HACCP, Sanitation Controls/Procedures.

This position desires a self-starter who is able to work independently and with others as a team. Must be able to work at a steady pace and follow written and oral directions. Knowledge of the seafood species and grades is required. Must be accurate on all paperwork and have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

A condition of employment with Ocean Beauty Seafoods is to have our workforce 100% vaccinated against COVID-19.
