Job Summary:
The Itinerary Specialist is responsible for creating customized travel itineraries for clients based on their preferences, budget, and travel objectives. This role involves researching destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities to design comprehensive and personalized travel plans. The Itinerary Specialist coordinates all aspects of the itinerary to ensure a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for clients.
Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and requirements.
- Research destinations, attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and activities.
Design customized travel itineraries that meet clients' needs and expectations.
Make reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel-related services.
Provide recommendations and advice to clients regarding destinations, activities, and travel logistics.
Coordinate with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure bookings and confirm arrangements.
Prepare detailed travel documents, including itinerary summaries, maps, and tickets, for clients.
- Communicate with clients throughout the planning process to address questions, concerns, and modifications to the itinerary.
- Ensure compliance with travel regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments.
