This job supports the company by utilizing tools and data to assign staff to fill critical gaps in staffing for varies clinical roles.

Education

Required - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, communication, or other related degree

Work Experience

Required - 3 years of customer service, healthcare, or other related experience

Preferred - 1 year of experience in staffing within a healthcare or agency setting

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

* Proficiency in using computers, software, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with staff and leaders of all levels within the organization.

* Ability to synthesize data and utilize reasoning to make appropriate staffing decisions.

* Ability to function independently under pressure with sound decision making.

* Ability to utilize technical tools to aide in decision making.

Job Duties

* Utilizes data and other available information to make informed staffing decisions to fill critical clinical vacancies with CSRC float staff.

* Supports patient care by leading daily huddle calls with clinical leaders to understand daily staffing needs for the organization and assign float resources to fill gaps in staffing.

* Recruits staff to pick-up additional shifts to cover critical vacancies.

* Communicates staffing assignments to float staff and clinical leaders.

* Completes special projects as requested by supervisor and director of staffing to enhance services of the CSRC.

* Reviews, schedules, and uses staffing data to pro-actively address upcoming staffing needs.

* Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical and Environmental Demands

The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
