Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced, Document Control Specialist , for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the PCAPP project near Pueblo, CO. This onsite role offers a W2 hourly base rate with time and a half for overtime.

This is a Service Contract Act position, which offers 11 paid holidays and a Health & Welfare Benefit allowance of $4.98/hour. Our client is targeting $27.00/hour + $4.98 per hour for a total base rate of $31.98 per hour. Overtime would be according to the base rate of $27.00 x 1.5 = $40.05/hour.

Project Overview:
The Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) has completed the munition destruction phase as of June 2023 and has now entered the closure phase. The PCAPP is approximately 25 miles from Pueblo, CO. This is a long-term assignment with a 9/80 s schedule (6:30 am 4:00 pm Monday Thursday, and 6:30 am 3:00 pm every other Friday); or a 4/10 schedule (Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday).

Responsibilities:

  • Processing project documents using Bechtel s electronic document management system and performing records management/turnover tasks.
  • Review, log, copy, distribute, and file all outgoing and incoming communications.
  • Perform data entry using Info Works, Bechtel s electronic document management system.
  • Extract reports and perform a variety of queries using standard office automation tools and Info Works.
  • Provide general and technical support to project personnel in the use of InfoWorks.
  • Prepare and process records for scanning and archiving.
  • Perform quality control of scanned images and data entry.
  • Perform records management, validation, and turnover tasks.
  • Interface with internal and external customers in the resolution of questions or problems.
  • Establish and maintain an electronic and hard copy filing system of project documents or departmental documents, such as engineering design, procurement and supplier documents, manuals and procedures, communications, or any other department- specific materials.
  • Maintain hard copy stick files of engineering drawings and change documents.
  • Assemble information, such as status reports, for supervisor and other department or project personnel as requested.
  • Keep abreast of department technologies, techniques, and services relevant to area of responsibility and make recommendations.
