Description

We are currently seeking a Temporary Warehouse Clerk to join our Konami Team!

The Temporary Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing receiving and stocking functions and assists in the management of the material inventory.

This position is a temporary employment.

This position is full-time Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

What will you be doing?

  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies and notifies supervisor of irregularities.
  • Verify transaction record to control document.
  • Completes transaction document as provided by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Distributes items to departments and obtains authorized signatures.
  • Compares identifying information and counts items of incoming/outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of material, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and calls shipper to rectify damages or shortages.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications and labels are accurate, and packages properly, stamps, marks, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or boxes.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges and proper postage or instructions.
  • Provides tracking documentation on shipments that are sent or are received.
  • Stages parts for shipment and verifies systems warehouse hardware levels.
  • Assists in physical inventory and performs cycle counts, bin audits, and audit orders.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock, adjusts errors and investigates and reports reasons for variances.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or stagnant inventory items.
  • Operates tier lift truck or hand truck to move, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
  • Provides line with parts to complete work orders and verifies quality on work orders.
  • Travels between warehouse storage units and transports goods to and from Post Office, Fed Ex, UPS, or other, as needed.
  • Assists in the movement of games/parts/related equipment with use of company truck or other vehicle.
  • Works closely with warehouse supervisor and systems project coordinator to ensure timely and responsive action to meet department needs.
  • Reports any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to senior management.
  • Collects, researches, and creates solutions or actions to ensure organized, efficient, and accurate incoming and ongoing parts and equipment.

Qualifications

What skills and expertise do you bring to the job?
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and lift over 50 pounds assisted with the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in warehouse, manufacturing, or electronic industries.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Pronto or related computer software experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred; computer literacy required.
  • May be required to move machines weighing up to and over 300 pounds with hand truck assistance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
