Freelance Onsite Translators
JTG is currently seeking Translators to provide written translation onsite in Reston, VA, on a freelance basis
Languages: Azeri | Bulgarian | Dari | German | Hebrew | Japanese| Korean | Kurdish | Norwegian | Pashto | Polish | Swahili | Taishanese | Thai | Turkish | Ukrainian
Location: Reston, VA
Job Type: Temporary contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Duration: Approximately 1-15 days at a time
Responsibilities:
- Translate written texts and/or transcribe audio passages from the foreign language into English
- Provide gists and summaries in English
Basic Qualifications: - Proficiency in each working language
- Experience in written translation from the foreign language into English
- Familiarity with Windows applications and basic computer skills
- Available to work onsite at JTG headquarters in Reston, VA; Orem, UT; or Monterey, CA
- U.S. citizen willing to undergo a background check
Education: - Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
