Comebe a part of Team NewCold Atlanta! Become a part of a fast pace, fast growingautomated Cold Storage facility. We are currently looking for an Order Selector with a minimum of 2 years' experienceto join our team and work in our frozen warehouse.
Intended results
The logistical processwill be managed and performed in accordance with the schedule
The production equipmentwill be well maintained
The planned orders willbe completed on time and in accordance to customer requirements
A safe and healthy workenvironment is maintained
Responsibilities
Ensuring the shift arefocused on achieving high levels of customer service
Working with the team inline with company policy and ensuring agreed standards are met
Working with Planners,Operators and Engineers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of thewarehouse
Monitoring and reactingto KPI results and undertaking improvements where required
Introducing and maintaina focus on health, safety and quality in all aspects of warehouse activity
Core tasks
Performing the processorders
Checking and affixinglabels to ensure the correct labelling is maintained at all times
Moving and unstackingpallets
Carrying out correctiveactivities with entry and removal of goods
Carrying out cleaning andlow-level maintenance work
Communication structureon site to include daily shift briefs, monthly shift meetings, and dailyshift handovers
React promptly to changesin situation, volume, or requirements to minimize disruption and cost
Communicate with internalteam any deviation from process, quality issues, and service issues, orrisk of failure in these areas
Control and manage shiftincluding holiday planning, absence management, performance management
Educational Requirements
High School Degree
Experience Requirements
2+ years of work experience in related fields
Experience on stand up and sit-down forklifts required
Specific Requirements
Knowledge of the products and how they should be handled - including food hygiene requirements
Knowledge of the logistical process
Knowledge of the planning system used
Works in an encouraging and solution-oriented way
