**Job Summary**

The Inventory Clerk will be an essential position in assisting to implement and monitor procedures to ensure that the proper inventory is in all warehouse locations and aligned to SAP. The position will serve as the Shipping and Receiving liaison. Duties include counting inventory at various locations within the warehouse and matching results with inventory records. The Inventory Clerk may resolve discrepancies by location product or isolating errors in records while adhering to SOX guidelines.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**

**(40%) Manage Cycle Count Program**

* Perform cycle counts, audits and adjustments as needed

* Document and report cycle count accuracy

* Performs inventory adjustments as required with permission and/or direction from management while adhering to SOX guidelines

* Assist Cycle Counters in investigations as needed

* Ensure inventory accuracy of inventory locations

* Manage mapping and un-mapping of inventory (assigning locations)

**(40%) Reporting**

* Document and report damaged inventory

* Report and investigate receipt overages and shortages (Incoming)

+ Distribution Order (DO) Discrepancies (Sister Facilities)

+ Purchase Order (PO) Discrepancies

+ Accounts Payable (AP) Reconciliation

* Run various inventory reports in MFGPro. File and organize various reports

* Shipping/Receiving Liaison. Maintain and organize shipping and receiving documentation

* Complete daily productivity & accuracy data

* Monitor all aspect of inventory transactions

* Systematic location creating and maintenance

+ Staging Locations (shipping) maintenance/reconciliation

+ Staging Locations (WIP) maintenance/reconciliation

**(10%) Documentation**

* Ensure all SOX Compliance RCMs are adhered to and documented in timely manner.

* Inventory discrepancies are investigated and documented as required by compliance Metrics

* Maintain and organize shipping and receiving documentation

+ In Bound Quality Audit Documentation

+ Exported BOL(s)

+ Commercial Invoice Creation

**(10%) Department Support**

* Manage mapping and un-mapping of inventory (assigning locations), setting up Part Matrix

* Inventory adjustments; Rework, MRB, TOF, Scrap

* Under direction and guidance of management, may assist in making staff adjustments as needed based on flow of work

* Complete daily 5S audit

* Additional duties as required

**Education and Experience Profile**

* High school diploma or GED. Must demonstrate high Math aptitude

* Must be a licensed equipment operator or have the ability to be licensed within two weeks of accepting the position

* Experience in manufacturing environment preferred

* MFG-PRO, SAP, RP Experience preferred

**Required Skills**

* Highly motivated and enthusiastic. Must have the ability and willingness to learn new jobs and functions

* Demonstrated organization and leadership skills

* Good communication and written skills with internal and external customers

* Must have the ability to work overtime as needed

* Ability to read, write, understand and effectively communicate pertinent information and standard operating procedures

* Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically performing intermediate level of MS Excel and basic level of MS Outlook)

**Work Environment**

Working conditions are normal for an office, warehouse/manufacturing environment
