The Opportunity:
West Liberty University is seeking applications for a full time faculty member in the College of Business teaching Management/ Sports Management. This is a 9 month appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Teaches in-seat business courses as assigned
- Teaches online and Master's level classes as assigned
- Advises students
- Develops curriculum
- Recruits students
- Engages in college and University-wide activities
- Assists in the placement and advisement of student internships.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Master's degree in business administration is required.
- Doctoral degree in Business Administration or related field, with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline, is preferred.
- Experience teaching business courses in-seat and online is preferred.
- Prior professional experience is preferred.
- Experience advising students is preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Experience leading and managing others in an academic setting through transparency and collaboration.
