Description

Generates SAP MRP reports, purchases replacement stock, monitors inventory levels, and adjusts the max/min accordingly with proper approval.
Ensures accurate generating and updating of purchase orders for storehouse stock and interfaces with suppliers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of pricing and lead times
Recognizes when computer feedback does not satisfy warehouse system requirements and takes action accordingly
Supports and assists, as required, Purchasing, Accounting, Maintenance, Operations, and Technical personnel with SAP issues affecting requisition processes, purchase orders, and invoices
Assists with invoice and purchase order discrepancies to ensure proper workflow among the Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting Departments
Collaborates with Business Units and the Warehouse Manager regarding additions/changes/deletions to inventory
Conducts price analysis/bidding when applicable for warehouse stock
Creates and updates SAP Info Records for the setup of material and material changes as required
Receives feedback on services provided from suppliers and field customers in order to develop/implement action plans to correct discrepancies
Oversees data input/analytical duties associated with cycle/physical counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Ensures that turnaround/outage inventory material needs are met
Expedites storehouse materials as required
Provides support and assists Purchasing with the implementation of cataloging and material code setups
Adheres to alJ safety rules and procedures as established by the Company
Assists on special projects as required by Warehouse Manager and Procurement Department (e.g., blue/yellow tag programs, etc.)
Serves as the backfill for the Warehouse Manager as needed
Processes various reports in SAP to ensure materials are delivered, and purchase orders are closed in a timely fashion
Orders supplies for Warehouse personnel

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Business Administration, Finance, or other related discipline is preferred
3+ years of Warehouse experience in a refinery or chemical plant environment preferred

Proficient with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel required
Ability to use SAP proficiently required
