Were are a general contractor in with offices in Northern Virginia. We have projects all over the Virginia, Maryland and DC area and are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team as a Project Manager.
Essential roles and responsibilities:
1. Liaise between Owner, Design Team and Subcontractors.
2. Ensures and confirms trade SOWs are clear, accurate and complete.
3. Forecast project profit accurately.
4. Coordinate directly with Superintendents on manpower needs, SOWs and sequence of work.
5. Produce clear and reliable schedules.
6. Administer contract obligations (owners' and subs').
7. Ensure subcontractors are paid on time for monies earned.
Required Skills:
1. Proficient in computer use and project management software.
2. Strong written and verbal communications.
3. Strong ability to estimate and review proposals/change orders.
4. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
5. Strong ability to develop detailed schedules and forecast schedule issues/delays.
Required Experience:
- College degree - in the construction/engineering/architecture desired.
- 5+ years in the construction industry with a proven track record in an APM position.
