What We Do:

Neurocrine Biosciences is a neuroscience-focused, biopharmaceutical company with a simple purpose: to relieve suffering for people with great needs, but few options. We are dedicated to discovering and developing life-changing treatments for patients with under-addressed neurological, endocrine and psychiatric disorders. The company's diverse portfolio includes FDA-approved treatments for tardive dyskinesia, Parkinson's disease, endometriosis* and uterine fibroids*, as well as clinical programs in multiple therapeutic areas. For three decades, we have applied our unique insight into neuroscience and the interconnections between brain and body systems to treat complex conditions. We relentlessly pursue medicines to ease the burden of debilitating diseases and disorders, because you deserve brave science. *in collaboration with AbbVie

About the Role:

As part of the Neuroimmunology Research Team, the individual will contribute to the assessment of novel therapeutic approaches to target autoimmunity and inflammation in neurodegenerative and movement disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and collaborative scientist with knowledge and expertise in cellular and molecular immunology, with experience in antibody/small molecule drug discovery. The successful candidate will work as part of a highly team-oriented and collaborative group. The focus of this position will be to support the progression of multiple drug discovery projects in the Neuroimmunology space, by independently designing, performing, and validating key in vitro cell-based functional assays. The candidate will also perform experiments to understand the mechanism of action of drug candidates, and present data to cross-functional teams.
