Vacancy Number: S-01094 Position Title: Laborer Classification Title: Department: Facilities Employment Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will perform laborer work related to maintenance and repair for campus facilities. Under close supervision, aids in maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on campus.
* Perform work related to repairing and maintaining systems, equipment, and fixtures on campus ensuring all work is performed timely and correctly to provide safe and comfortable spaces on campus.
* Assists with performing trade repairs and installs in campus buildings.
* Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on facility systems.
* Performs general maintenance and clean up tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* The ability to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair a wide array of common facility systems or equipment.
* Ability to perform manual tasks and work off a ladder.
* Ability to follow oral instructions, perform assigned tasks timely, and communicate with others.
* Ability to work with other facility staff.
Minimum Qualifications:

* Valid Driver's License
* High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing a trade.
