**GROUP AND EVENT SALES ASSOCIATE, ILLUMINARIUM EXPERIENCES (LAS VEGAS)**

**ILLUMINARIUM EXPERIENCES**

The latest addition to our Global Attractions portfolio, Legends has been chosen as the exclusive operator of Illuminarium Experiences: cutting edge immersive, experiential entertainment spectacles. Located in major cities and tourism destinations around the world, these custom-designed venues, or Illuminariums, will surround visitors in a sensory experience, using advanced laser projection mapping and sound systems to transport guests to places they may never otherwise visit: the worlds best safari, an expedition to Mars, or even a trip back in time to visit ancient civilizations. After hours, Illuminariums will transform into unique spaces for corporate and private events, as well as immersive club/bar experiences. As museums are to art, cinemas are to movies, Illuminariums are to experiential entertainment.

**THE ROLE**

The Group & Event Sales Associate will be responsible for generating significant revenue from traditional groups event sales through various outreach channels including their existing network of contacts, cold calling, and incoming leads. Their primary focus will include schools, tour groups, corporations, and meeting planners. Additionally, they will pro-actively assist in developing future programs that will benefit the Illuminariums long-term sales goals. They will also assist both the Group and Tourism Sales Manager and the Event Sales Manager in fulfilling their goals.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects

* Generate sales leads through phone and email outreach

* Generate leads through previous customer network if applicable

* Complete the group booking process from reservation, to invoicing, payment and ticket fulfillment

* Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails

* Maintain comprehensive records and accounting

* Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage

* Manage client-related issues in a calm, professional manner

* Up-sell added-value products

* Attend networking events and trade shows as needed

* Assist with event planning and set up

* Facilitate client walk throughs and have thorough understanding of rate card, inclusions and event options

* Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years experience in a sales role

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients

* Must be able to multi-task, have strong time-management skills and remain organized in a dual-role

* Resourceful, conscientious, and punctual

* Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to work

* Desire to grow a fruitful career in attractions, sports, and entertainment

* Background in leisure or corporate sales and/or event sales/operations is a plus

* Familiarity with Salesforce and/or TripleSeat platforms is a plus
