Job Description Position Purpose/Summary

The Warehouse Technician is committed to providing the highest quality service to the communities we serve and is dedicated to fulfilling our customers needs by offering the latest in technological advances allowing them to keep pace with the growing demands of a global economy.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1.Returning faulty equipment back to the manufacturer in a timely manner

2.Preparing all orders from the Outside Plant employees before the installation date Issuing supplies to Outside Plant employees and preparing supplies to send to outlying offices

3.Operating the Forklift as needed

4.Delivering supplies to outlying offices and restocking the kitchens in the Carlyss Exchange

5.Testing, cleaning and putting Video boxes back in their original packaging and return back to Warehouse inventory.

6.Understanding and strictly adhering to the Companys Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) policy while appropriately maintaining the confidentiality of customer records

7.Understanding how all departments contribute to the success of the organization and referring customers and employees to the appropriate department to best fulfill their needs

8.Building and maintaining a good rapport and cooperative relationship with customers and co-workers while taking ownership of responsibilities and being accountable for his/her own actions

9.Being an advocate for Company programs and special events while taking initiative to participate and volunteering readily when opportunities arise

10.Performing all other duties and responsibilities assigned

2.Knowledge of and the ability to comply with CPNI regulations and procedures

3.Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches and the ability to function effectively as a team player

4.Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

Qualifications

The Warehouse Technician must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and previous work experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Working Conditions

Must have valid drivers license

Works outside in all kinds of weather, travel requirements, etc.
