Aviation Project Manager
Job Details
Duties:
Oversee and manage civil and infrastructure construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate and facilitate communication among architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and various stakeholders involved in the projects.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing tools such as Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Adobe.
Monitor project progress closely, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan promptly to ensure timely completion and within budget constraints.
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and resolve any conflicts, issues, or challenges that arise during the construction phase, maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, progress, and adherence to safety standards and industry regulations.
Facilitate pay-application processing, quality management, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Implement effective time, resource, and progress tracking mechanisms, employing strategies for schedule mitigation and cost management.
Facilitate closeout procedures, including submittals, RFIs, defects tracking, and resolutions, ensuring project completion to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Preferred).
2-4 years of experience in project management/engineering and construction management, with a focus on civil, aviation, or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and Primavera is preferred, with mandatory skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Adobe.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including operations, tenants, designers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Familiarity with project management principles, including cost management, budgeting, value engineering, and schedule management.
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and industry standards effectively.
Prior experience in a large operating facility or aviation projects is advantageous.
Strong leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Experience with pay-application processing, quality management, and closeout procedures is highly desirable.
