Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
  • Handles customer needs for the entire transactional process - looking up parts, pulling parts, selling parts, loading out parts
  • Responsible for the entire inventory process with Non-Deere parts - receipting the parts under the price specified from the vendor
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
  • Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
  • Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Parts Manager - Does not act on the shortages
  • Listens and records potential customer needs or sales/service leads
  • Will assist in the auditing of customer orders in the customer bins - through making the > 14 day warning call
  • Regularly stocks showroom - as needed
  • Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Must always be respectful and diligent when representing Western Equipment
  • Basic data entry and keyboarding skills
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Fork lift license preferred
