**Janitor**

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, General Manager or Human Resources the Janitorial team member is responsible for overall cleaning functions for both Corporate and Operations/Production/Warehousing at the SigmaTron International, Inc., Elk Grove Village plant.
**JOB CONTENTS:**
- The team member is responsible for office/conference room cleaning (such as dusting and wiping surfaces) in offices and production.
- The team member is responsible for floor cleaning (such as vacuuming and mopping) in offices and production.
- The team member is responsible for caf cleaning (such as refrigerators, microwave, sinks, water fountains and tables) in offices and production.
- The team member is responsible for bathroom cleaning (such as sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors and stall) in offices and production.
- The team member will empty trash into dumpster and cardboard recycling into compactor.
- The team member will refill supplies (such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels and deodorizer) in offices and production.
- The team member will wax and buff floors on established schedule.
- The team member will follow a cleaning schedule and report any repairs needed to facilities.
- The team member will refill and monitor cleaning supplies level and equipment.
- The team member may be called upon to assist maintenance on special projects. No special skills will be required.
- The team member may have other duties as assigned.
**AUTHORITY:** The team member will clean facilities and report any broken equipment to facilities for repair.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, understanding of the English language preferred.
**Experience:** Janitorial of Maintenance Utility experience.
**Special Abilities:** Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push and pull continually.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
**Training Time:** Minimum 30 days; Maximum 60 days
