Role: Senior Director, Microsoft Cloud Operations

Location: Willowick, Ohio (On-site 3 days a week, 2 days WFH)

Salary: $200k plus 25% bonus

Position Summary:

As the Senior Director, IT, Microsoft Cloud Operations, you will play a vital role in our growing Global Information Technology Organization. In this position, you will be a key member of the senior IT leadership team, overseeing a highly skilled team of IT professionals. Your responsibilities will encompass project leadership, planning, finance, strategy development, and business operations within the Microsoft Cloud Operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a global team of IT managers and technical experts in Microsoft-based Cloud Operations.
  • Manage individuals in both a direct and indirect matrix-based organization worldwide.
  • Lead large, corporate-wide information and operations technology projects, ensuring successful completion within set milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT Senior Managers to develop a global Information and Operations Cloud strategy, policies, procedures, SLAs, and ensure adherence.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the enterprise department, including an annual capital budget of $2-$5M and an operating budget of $7-$10M.
  • Drive operational strategy for the Microsoft administration team to build a scalable global enterprise ecosystem for day-to-day on-prem and Cloud operations, including 24x7 operations.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop I/O strategy aligned with the overall business plan.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend Cloud technologies in alignment with the overall business and I/O strategy.
  • Foster the growth of the global team of IT professionals supporting MS Cloud Operations.
  • Manage team development and create training plans to enhance support for IT systems.
  • Oversee vendor and licensing management.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years managing a technical IT team responsible for Microsoft infrastructure and operations.
  • 5+ years of technical hands-on experience in IT technologies, including MS Cloud, servers, operating systems, storage networks, and virtualization.
  • Cloud DevOps and Cloud Adoption experience highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing budgets in excess of $5M.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and growing IT teams.
  • Microsoft operational experience in either Azure or AWS.
  • Strong project management experience on a global scale.
