**Your Next Career Opportunity Painter II**

The Painter I is responsible for rehabbing and painting apartments and common areas. Primary job duties are focused on interiors of units after tenants move out and before new renters move in. Exterior painting work, which requires working safely at heights, may be required. The Painter I should understand industry best practices and apply them to every aspect of their work. In some cases, tenant build-outs are involved with the job.

**What You Will Do Primary Responsibilities**

* Paint the interiors of apartments, as required, and to prepare units for lease.

* Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping.

* Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs.

* Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure projects are completed in an efficient, timely manner.

* Repair minor drywall.

* Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects.

* Meet with property managers to discuss color and finish options, as well as other design details for leasing spaces.

* Perform other work, such as cleaning exposed pipework, ductwork and vinyl base cove.

* Other projects and duties as assigned.

**What Youll Need Qualifications & Requirements**

* H.S. Diploma/GED

+ and 0-2 years years painting experience
