JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: Our Banquet Captain will be responsible for over seeing day-to-day operations of all private events and club functions. The Captain is responsible for everything from inspecting and approving table settings to supervising all servers and team members during events.

Primary Functions:

  • Support Director of Banquets in all day-to-day operations
  • Closely communicate with event host to ensure the perfect execution
  • Lead by example and by training to set a standard of excellence for all employees
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull food trays/carts, chairs, and tables up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifying Experience and Education:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality venue
    • Preferred experience in hotel banquets and catering
  • Superb interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Passion for food and drink
